Perdy is a 1 year old female pointer/hound mix that came to the shelter as a stray. Perdy is very responsive and extremely smart. She's going to be an asset to someone with enough ambition to train her. She's okay on a leash, but when she's too excited she forgets that you're attached to the other end. Perdy likes squeaky toys and things she can destroy. A peanut butter stuffed kong would be a great puzzle for her! Perdy seems to be okay with kids and other dogs, but might be a bit persnickety with cats as she's got that snoopy hound nose.
