Richie von Gardiner's story...
Richie von Gardiner is a handsome 3 year old German Shepherd with a pinch of another breed. He is a strong, active dog weighing in around 75 pounds, and he loves daily walks and bike rides as well as playing fetch. Richie is smart and has learned many tricks which he'll gladly do in exchange for treats. He knows "sit", "down", "shake" and "roll over" and you can put treats on his paw and he won't touch them until you tell him to. Although he loves tummy rubs, he can be picky about being disturbed when he's sleeping (but who isn't?) He does have a high prey drive and needs a home without small animals. Richie gets very protective of his home and surroundings so we feel he would do best in a home without children and a lot of commotion. He loves looking out the window of his home and guarding his family.
