Kali's Info...
| Breed: | Domestic Shorthair | Color: | Black (All) | Age: | Adult |
| Sex: | Female | Hair: | Short |
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with cats.
DOB March 29, 2008. Kali is a beautiful pure black, sweet girl with the personality of a kitten.
Kali was originally abandoned in an apartment when her owner went to prison and left her and her kitten behind. Luckily, a kind heart in the building took to feeding the two cats and eventually led them to TCR. Kali's kitten has since been adopted, but she is still looking for her forever home.
Kali is a playful, but gentle cat, who loves to purr and chase her mousy around. She currently lives with a much older cat who doesn't appreciate her playful nature nearly enough. Kali would be best as an only cat or with a cat her age who would enjoy her playfulness.

Decided on the kitty you would like to adopt? Please call the TCR Hotline - 416-538-8592 (press 1 for adoptions and leave a message) or email: tcr.adoptions@hotmail.com for a pre-adoption interview.
An adoption coordinator will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.
Next you will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your kitty home with you (in a safe carrying case).
Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It also includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!
