About Our Rescue Group...
Orange County Animal Rescue Team and Resource Center inc. is a 100% volunteer run organization. Founded by Diana Perry of Corinth, then joined by a small group of individuals, who for many years have individually taken in unwanted pets and provided shelter and care for them until permanent homes could be found. We are a newly incorpoated non-profit within the state of Vermont & are working on 501c3.
Our mission is to protect the health and welfare of companion animals, that are brought to us through rescue efforts, abandonment, owner surrendering or stray's. To promote the spaying or neutering of
companion pets and provide information and education to the public concerning animal welfare issues. We envision a community where all animals are treated with respect and dignity, and no animal suffers from cruelty or neglect.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We do not have an "open to the public shelter", our animals are cared for in private homes, therefore you must call to make an appointment to visit..

Our Adoption Process...
Potential adopters are required to fill out an adoption application, provide three personal references, and a Veterinarian reference. There is an adoption agreement, return agreement, as well as a spay/neuter agreement for puppies/kittens that are not old enough to be S/N before leaving.
Fees are based on the level of personal and vet care that is required for each individual animal. Usually between 45.00-65.00 for cats and kittens and 85.00- 150.00 for dogs and puppies.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
We serve our hometown of Corinth as well as it's surrounding communities within Orange County, Vermont.
