I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.
Peewee is a two year old Pit Bull that has been abused you can still see that his skin needs more time to heal. He is current on his vaccinations and has been neutered, he weighs 55 pounds and is housetrained. He sleeps with his rescuer and is a house dog. If another dog tries to attack him he won’t back down so he will be best as an only dog with out children although he likes kids. He rides well in the car and is good with birds and cats. He is playful and well-mannered and loves attention. He is partially obedience trained and knows how to sit, stay, down and come. Peewee will only be adopted to someone that is used to the breed.

We have an application and interview process.
We deliver many of our animals. Adoptions out of the delivery area require additonal paper work, including pictures of your home/yard.
AFCHS is a non-sheltered humane society organization modeled after some of the more progressive humane societies. We do not believe any home is better than no home, but instead, work to find the right home for each specific animal.

Filling out a questionnaire is not a commitment to adopt. It does help us determine if the dog or cat you inquire about is suitable for your home and to suggest others not yet on our site.

We DO NOT SHIP our precious cargo. Adopted pets are delivered to their new home. A safety inspection of the home and secured fenced areas is performed. Delivery distance is subject to adoption counselor’s discretion. Additonal paper work is required for those animals not delivered to the new home.
We feel the lifestyle of the prospective home should match the needs of the individual animal.
