How do? I'm Shags, and the name is perfect for me. I'm just a shaggy fluff ball, and I get along with everyone. I'm super friendly, and want to be your new best friend. At 24 pounds, I'm full grown, so you don't have to worry about me being too big for even an apartment. I get along great with other dogs and cats, but would prefer a home with kids 8 and older. Benji is my brother, but I'm ready to strike out on my own. After all, a grown guy like me needs a pad to call home!! Do you have the love I'm looking for?

Alabama Small Dog Rescue is a private group dedicated to helping small breed dogs find homes. All of our dogs are in private foster homes....we don't have a normal kennel in that sense. Our adoption fees are $150 to $300, and all of our babies are UTD on shots, spayed and neutered, and on flea and HW prevention. Our Adoption Process...
We require an application for adoption (available at www.alsmalldogrescue.org) to be completed. Once we have verified all of your references, then we conduct a home visit. We do require a signed contract upon adoption.
