Mozart is in a foster home. Once we get your application and screen it, we will call you about setting up a time to either meet him in his foster home or at one of our adoption days. But we need the application FIRST. Thank you for taking the time to fill out dog application completely. It is a very important process in our adoption process.
Meet Magnificent Mozart. He's a classic who'll make your heart sing! He's a 3-year-old cutie who loves other friendly low-key dogs like himself, is a gentleman with cats, and is even polite to bunnies! His foster home says: 'He loves to play & loves to be in your lap or near you whenever you're in the yard. He's good with all animals!! He's crate-trained & runs to get into the crate when you say time to go to bed.' In his foster home, he's mellow, sweet, a perfectly behaved guest! But he has a secret....he is a silly sweet affection monger! Yup, this little dude is a kissing fool. And once kiss from this little scruffy dude and your heart will be his.

Since we all know NO ONE is perfect, Mozart does have one issue he is working on. Some time in his past he must have had a bad experience so now he can be a bit frightened when strangers approach him too quickly. He gets scared and barks, barks, barks. Once we figured out what was going on we have been working with a dog behaviorist and his foster family have helped him overcome so much! 90% of the time he is a wonderful mellow fellow. Mozart is looking for a home that understands his past and that sometimes strangers reaching for him scare him. Mozart needs a home that will continue working with him to help him be the best boy he can be. Oh and a home where he can cuddle and kiss and play!
