My sisters and I were abandoned by the river. We were found hiding in some cactus at night. I am shy and protective and very sweet and cuddly with people I know. My knees are damaged and will required some surgery. The rescue is accepting donations to help fund the $1,500 needed to fix me up. About Our Rescue Group...
A.R.T.A. -- Animal Rescue, Transport, and Adoption -- is a small, rural foster home based rescue that cares for and places kittens, cats, puppies, and dogs into new homes -- usually, in the Tucson and Phoenix areas. Most of our adoptable animals have been relinquished by previous owners who could not care for them due to unforeseen circumstances or life changes. The adoptable animals may be visited by appointment or be seen in Tucson area. for weekend adoption events.
