Asheton's Info...
| Breed: | Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) Mix | Color: | Tan/Yellow/Fawn | Age: | Young |
| Size: | Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg) | Sex: | Female |
I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.
This is Asheton. She is a beautiful dog. She loves to run and play. We have been working on her manners. She is a little shy of new people, but she warms up quickly. She is not very demanding. All she wants is a yard to play in and toy to squeak. If you are interested please fill out our Pre-adoption questionnaire on our web site www.lostmittens.com.
For faster response to questions please send questions via email to info@lostmittens.com. Thanks!

Rescue Group Info...
Living in a college town we see many abandoned pets. When the college kids leave town many times they leave their pets behind. Can you imagine?
We are a family that cares about animal welfare. We provide a temporary secure environment for dogs and cats until a permanent home can be found. All of the animals in our care are vet checked, and given their vaccinations.
We are very small and have limited space, but we try to provide all of our animals with a secure, social and loving environment.
We receive no state funding or other assistance, all expenses are covered by donations, adoption fees and our own pockets. Currently, we are not a 501c3, so unfortunately donations are not tax deductible. Any donations are appreciated and used to cover the costs of the animals in our care.
All of our pets are seen by appointments only. All pets are kept in our home. There is no facility to visit.
All adoptions must be approved. An application must be completed, a vet reference will be checked, and a home check will be done if possible. This is to make sure the new home and the animal are a good match.
An adoption contract must be signed assuring the animal will be returned to us if the adoption does not work out. Adoption fees will vary from pet to pet. Our fees are determined by how much of our own dollars are spent getting each pet ready for adoption. When adopting a cat/kitten we require that they be indoor only, large dogs and puppies that will be large when grown require a fenced yard.
