Ping's Story...
This is Ping. He is without a doubt the sweetest dog that we have. He loves to curl up on the couch next to you. Just look at those big brown eyes. Is he handsome or what. He is 6 months old so I don't think that he will get much bigger. Which makes him a great size. All he needs is a home to call his own. Please give him a chance. If you are interested is Ping please fill out the Pre-adoption application on our website www.lostmittens.com.

About Our Rescue Group...
Living in a college town we see many abandoned pets. When the college kids leave town many times they leave their pets behind. Can you imagine?

We are a family that cares about animal welfare. We provide a temporary secure environment for dogs and cats until a permanent home can be found. All of the animals in our care are vet checked, and given their vaccinations.
We are very small and have limited space, but we try to provide all of our animals with a secure, social and loving environment.

We receive no state funding or other assistance, all expenses are covered by donations, adoption fees and our own pockets. Currently, we are not a 501c3, so unfortunately donations are not tax deductible. Any donations are appreciated and used to cover the costs of the animals in our care.

Come Meet Our Pets...
All of our pets are seen by appointments only. All pets are kept in our home. There is no facility to visit.
Our Adoption Process...
All adoptions must be approved. An application must be completed, a vet reference will be checked, and a home check will be done if possible. This is to make sure the new home and the animal are a good match.

An adoption contract must be signed assuring the animal will be returned to us if the adoption does not work out. Adoption fees will vary from pet to pet. Our fees are determined by how much of our own dollars are spent getting each pet ready for adoption. When adopting a cat/kitten we require that they be indoor only, large dogs and puppies that will be large when grown require a fenced yard.

We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
