Sandy's story...
Sandy is a wonderful and loving girl. She was dumped out on the side of the road, after having a litter of puppies. the puppies were never found. she was so weak she could barely walk. Sandy has come a long way and she is keeping her paws crossed that someone will take her home. She is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. She is spayed and up to date with her shots...

About Our Rescue Group...
We are the newly formed Henderson County Humane Society. We are located in Lexington, Tennessee. We are trying to make life better for homeless/abused pets by adoption, education,and we promote spaying and neutering.

Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption donation is $75.00 for pets that have already been spayed and/or neutered. We require an adoption application with vet references and adoption contract. For our pets that haven't been spayed/neutered, the adotion donation is $100.00, with $25.00 being refunded when proof of spay/neuter is shown. For the $75.00 adoption donation, you recieve a voucher for the animal to be spayed/neutered if they are not spayed/neutered when they are adopted.
