I am already spayed, housetrained, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Chiller is a 10+ year old Jack Russell Terrier mix I have been fostering after rescuing her from the Wake County Animal Shelter. She is definitely a senior dog, low-key and mostly keeps to herself. If you are looking for a companion to curl up on the couch with you, she is your girl. She enjoys her walks and sleeping (a lot). She loves being close with her owner and can form a very strong bond to someone who is similar in nature to her. Someone who is patient, gentle, and loves to 'chill out' by reading a book or watching TV would make a good human companion for Chiller.
She lives with 2 dogs and 2 cats in my home, and will do fine with other pets once she sets her boundaries. She does not like being taken by surprise and as such should not go to a home with small children, playful puppies/kittens, or highly dominant animals. She takes Rimadyl twice daily in her food for arthritis, and seligiline (compounded liquid) once a day for Canine Cognitive Dysfunction. Since being on these medications, she has pepped up and become less symptomatic.
Chiller is an older gal who is set in her ways, and needs an owner who will love her unconditionally and not be afraid to let her know who is boss. Her medications are fairly cheap, she had a dental cleaning 6 months ago, and is current on vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick prevention. She is also spayed and has been vaccinated against kennel cough and canine influenza.

Who We Are
2 Paws Up started in early 2007 as a small group helping to transport animals from the Harnett County Shelter to people who wanted to adopt but could not make it there themselves.
Since then, we have expanded our services to a full adoption agency. We vaccinate animals upon their arrival and get them any necessary health care, including spaying and neutering.
Any animal in our group will be spayed or neutered at the time of adoption. We cannot help the problem if animals keep mating!
We have recently been approved as a North Carolina Non-profit organization, and are waiting for our 501(c)3 paperwork to be finalized! Hooray!
Why We Are Different
As a future pet owner, you are probably looking for an adoption agency that is right for you. Each rescue group should have something that appeals to different groups of people, so everyone can find their future pet. This is why we think we are different:
• Our adoption fees vary between animals. We do not charge you for something we didn’t do. For example, if a dog came into the shelter already neutered, the cost of that neuter will NOT be included in his adoption fee.
• Our main focus is shelter pets. Most rescue groups focus on stray animals before they end up in the shelter. We try to help as many animals that are in imminent danger of being put down. We do accept animals from elsewhere as well, but high-kill shelters are our main focus.
CATS: $115 or a pair for $180
