DOB October 1, 2010. Scooter is a young, energetic and playful girl who is cute as a button. She gets along well with everyone in her foster home including the dog. She loves to climb up the climbing post and sit on the upper ledge. She is very friendly and loves to be petted when she is able to take time out from whatever game is engaged in. She will come and snuggle for a bit, but she is very young and busy. She is not demanding and never meows. Her foster mom has never heard her voice. She will be shy at first but will quickly settle in and make herself at home. She needs a family who will play with her!

Toronto Cat Rescue is a no-kill, non-profit, 100% volunteer group. TCR helps find homes for homeless, abandoned, sick or injured cats, as well as helps cats escape situations of abuse, neglect, or imminent euthanasia. TCR relies on volunteers to foster cats in their homes until a cat lover comes along to adopt them, so we know the cats personalities in a home setting! Decided on the kitty you would like to adopt? Please call the TCR Hotline - 416-538-8592 (press 1 for adoptions and leave a message) or email: tcr.adoptions@hotmail.com for a pre-adoption interview.
An adoption coordinator will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.
Next you will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your kitty home with you (in a safe carrying case).
Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It also includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!
