I'm a goofy, playful, affectionate hound boy. I'm still young, about 7 months old. I walk pretty well on leash. I enjoy people, other dogs, and being a dog. My favorite playmate is my sister Millie, yet I'm the kind of dog you could take to the dog park, add to a family with another dog, or enjoy as an only dog with lots of human attention. A.R.T.A. -- Animal Rescue, Transport, and Adoption -- is a small, rural foster home based rescue that cares for and places kittens, cats, puppies, and dogs into new homes -- usually, in the Tucson and Phoenix areas. Most of our adoptable animals have been relinquished by previous owners who could not care for them due to unforeseen circumstances or life changes. The adoptable animals may be visited by appointment or be seen in Tucson area. for weekend adoption events.
A.R.T.A. adopts mostly to homes in Tucson and Phoenix areas. Other locations may be considered.

Please, email about your ideal cat or dog you'd like to adopt and a little about home you are offering. Adoption fee is usually just the cost that vet charges for spay, neuter, and shots.
