Butch's Story...
No doubt about it, Butch is a gorgeous big guy. We think he may be a Tibetan Mastiff. He loves other dogs and cats too, but is a little shy around people at first, until he is comfortable with his environment. Therefore, Butch needs a patient and an understanding home, with no small kids, where he can receive the unconditional love and attention that he highly deserves. Butch's family moved away and left him behind at a city shelter. What a shame! Butch loves to play in water, rides great in the car, and knows his basic commands. He loves his tennis balls too. About Our Rescue Group...
Pet Adoption Fund is the largest non-profit, no-kill rescue organization in Southern California; founded in 1983. We are staffed primarily by volunteers, and exist solely on donations. Our mission is to rescue, shelter, and find loving permanent homes for the many wonderful, yet previously abandoned, neglected or abused companion animals. On the average, our facility houses around 175 dogs and 75 cats, of all sizes, ages and breeds.

Our Adoption Process...
Adoption fees vary by age, size and breed. All applications are subject to approval. Home checks are conducted. You must be over 21 years of age, and with a valid California Driver's License or a California ID Card. All our pets are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated. We serve Los Angeles and surrounding communities.
