I am already neutered, housetrained, good with kids, and not good with cats.
Winston, 6.5 years (as of July 2011), is a sweet older gentleman who loves companionship. He would love a calm, quiet home but also welcomes children who can give him the attention he craves - head scratches, back pats and all around cuddles are barely enough to keep this affectionate boy satisfied! Winston is ready to go home, are will you be the one to welcome him?

Who we are
For Animals, Inc. is a local TNR (trap, neuter, return) group. We are a New York State not for profit Corporation with (501) C-3 status, staffed and operated by people with many years of experience rescuing and taking care of abandoned animals.
What we do
The focus of our operation is a TNR program. For Animals, Inc. rescues stray and abandoned dogs and cats and then transports them to a veterinarian office where they are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and checked for general health. Afterward, they are fostered in a cage free environment until they are adopted into safe, loving homes.
Why we do it
With tens of thousands of feral cats on the streets of NYC, our focus is on TNR as an effort to humanely reduce the overall population, one colony at a time. By neutering & spaying the feral cats in the colony and adopting out friendly strays and kittens, the colony stabilizes and begins to shrink over time.
Each month we partner with North Shore Animal League America to visit neighborhoods throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan. Look for our adoption van outside of the locations listed on our website.
You can also visit our shelter in South Ozone Park, Queens, NY by calling to schedule an appointment.
Prior to adopting one of our wonderful pets, you will be asked to fill out an adoption application. Upon approval, you will sign an adoption contract and pay the $100 adoption fee, which covers the cost of spay/neuter and vaccines for your new companion.
We operate in Queens and Brooklyn, but serve the greater New York City area.
