Trouser's story...
Trouser is a 'project dog' with some special needs looking for a special person. He was brought up on a wire chain all his life. He can be people and animal fearful. He needs to be an only dog in a one or two person, quiet home. In his foster home he was able to burn off energy in the yard all day with two laid back female dogs. He bonds totally to one person and takes correction and training well. He is house, crate and leash trained but needs an "Airedale-wise", firm hand to keep his manners in control. He can be mouthly and will not be placed in a home with children or children visitors. He is good in the car but is not a socially adaptive dog. If you live alone with a quiet lifestyle, Trouser may be the dog for you. Apply at www.airedalerescuegroup.com

About Our Rescue Group...
We receive full bred Airedale Terriers from families, individuals, vets and shelters who need to rehomed for various life issues. The dogs are brought up to date on vaccinations, rabies and spayed or neutered. Typically the dogs move directly from their current home life to a new forever home but at times they are fostered in volunteers' homes. The application process is conducted on the web and includes a phone discussion, home visit and reference check. Once we have all the information we make the best match between the forever home and the dog.

Come Meet Our Pets...
Our pets can be seen daily at www.airedalerescuegroup.com. New pets are added daily. We assist about 100 Airedale Terriers per year or about 2 dogs per week. We are always updating our website.

Once a year on the weekend near April 15th our volunteers create events of 'jean's day at work", special donation donuts or Aire Hike to raise money for our dogs. Daily donations can be made through PayPal at www.airedalerescuegroup.com.

Our Adoption Process...
When you are thinking about adding an Airedale Terrier to your home, please apply on line at www.airedalerescuegroup.com. Our volunteers with arrange to speak with you by phone to discuss the perfect dog for your lifestyle. Once a home visit and reference check are done, we can talk about finding the right dog for your life. Most dogs move directly from their current homes to their new forever homes. All dogs are returnable to the Airedale Rescue Group at any time; for any reason. We strive to provide the right match; not just any match. The cost of adoption is $300 unless the dog is aged.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Airedale Rescue Group of SC services the states of North and South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and parts of Kentucky. We assist other groups in surrounding states when needed.
