HENRY's Story...
ADOPTED!!!
Henry was chained up to a fence for 5 yrs in Lake Arrowhead. We found out about him cause someone was giving him away for free on craigs list! can you imagine that??? He had never been groomed for 5 yrs, and was 7 pound overweight. He was compltely matted. When we rescued him he could barely walk and after we had him all shaved down, he was so happy and excited he didnt even know what to do with himself! We took him to the dog park for the first time and he hid under a bench for two hours he was so scared. Then after numerous tries every week, he started mingling with the other dogs and he started running around like a mad man. He had us laughing our heads off. He eventually lost 7 pounds. yay! We love Henry so much! he is an adorable 10 yr old boy who would make a great companion for anyone who falls in love with him!!!!

About Our Rescue Group...
We rescue primarily special needs, senior and geriatric animals from Los Angeles City and County Animal Shelters. The chances that these animals will ever be adopted out of the shetlers are very slim and we feel these little souls deserve a second chance at a forever loving home. Most of these animals are euthanized in the shelters. It is our mission to get them rehabilitated and make sure they get whatever medical attention they need, which includes blood panels, exrays, ultra sounds and whatever is needed at the time. Alot of the time these animals have been abandoned ,in critical condition and many times abused! We try to get them adopted into forever loving homes, which of course is not always easy. The ones that we cant place live out their lives with lots of TLC in one of our loving foster homes.

There is an application Questionare, Tax Deductible Adoption Donation, Home Check, and adoption contract. Applications must be filled our prior to consieration of adopting any animal. It is not our intention to be invasive but rather to make sure we get the best match possible for the animal and for you!
