I doubt that you can imagine the absolute horror of my days at the kill shelter. My very last day there had come and the veterinarian had been called to end my all too short stay in this world when CARE came for me. I could tell that my rescuer and foster mom Janet was a kindhearted lady, but when we got to her house I still trembled in fear. After only a week there with her family I realized that I was safe now and that hope could once again enter my heart. My life up into now has not been easy and I have had to compete with others for my survival in a pretty rough area. Consequently I am distrustful of other cats and it would probably be best if I am the only feline in your home. I am a soft and sleek tabby girl with exotic black stripes and the classic bull's eye markings. Only 2 to 3 years old, I have many years to shower my affections on my people. I am a true lap kitty and may well carry on a soft conversation with my person. My fear is gone now and you will see the true me- an animated sweetheart just brimming with soft purrs and head butts.
