About Our Shelter...
Adopting a pet is a lifetime commitment and is a responsibility that should be taken seriously. Our dogs and cats may have been lost, abandoned, abused or surrendered by a previous family and may require time to adjust to a new environment.
Filling out an adoption application is the first step in adopting a new family member . Once your application is received, it will be reviewed and references will be checked. Adoptions are sometimes limited to the state of Florida.
All of our dogs and cats are vet checked including spayed or neutered placed on flea/tick preventative; dewormed and provided with any other medical care necessary. If for any reason you decide you no longer can keep your adopted pet . The pet MUST be returned to us.

SPAYED\NUTERED
It is important that all applicants understand that it is the policy that all pets in a possible adoptive home be spayed/neutered prior to adoption unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. It is very important that you read and understand the ADOPTION APPLICATION prior to adoption.

WE ARE A PRIVATE NO-KILL ANIMAL SHELTER AND RESCUE. WE ARE RUN ON DONATIONS ONLY AND RECEIVE NO FUNDING FROM STATE OR COUNTY. WE HAVE ANIMALS WAITING FOR HOMES AT ALL TIMES.

Our Adoption Process...
The animals are raised in a domestic environment with children and their pets. All animals are up to date on their vaccinations. They are given wormer and flea treatment once a month the dogs are bathed at least once a week. The animals have free run of the house and yard. All the animals are fixed and micro chipped before they go up for adoption. The adoption process is first we send you a application and if you are approved the next step is to have a meeting with you to meet him or her. The last step hopefully is to take your new family member home. We are located in Ocala Fl. and can be reached by Email at rlbpugs3@aol.com.
