I was adopted from CARE as a kitten, but my human dad had to have a heart transplant and was no longer able to care for me. When I came back to my foster mom, Kim, after being away for almost a year, I was absolutely distraught at losing the only home that I can remember. I was a hurt and angry girl, but Kim just would not give up on me and has worked with so much love, understanding, and patience to show me that I can trust again. My feelings of anger and hostility were not my fault, but I did hear people talking about making me a 'barn cat.' I didn't much care for the sound of that! So I decided that I just had to meet Kim half way. I have become friendly and affectionate, loving to be brushed, playing under the door with the other cats, and following my mom around like a pup. I just need a PERMANENT home with an experienced cat person. I am a changed cat, but I'm still a spirited lass in need of the same love, patience, and understanding that led me to being the good girl that I am once again. Please call CARE @ (804) 288-9797.
