I hope you'll notice what a sweet, handsome face I have; when you meet me you'll notice I have a happy, easy-going, playful, affectionate personality to match. I'm well socialized with other dogs. I'm often on my back with other dogs jumping around me in fun. My first human loved me, but couldn't keep me due to her health problems. She had to go to a health care facility when I was five months old. She hopes a nice person or family will fall in love with me and give me the home and love I deserve. A.R.T.A. -- Animal Rescue, Transport, and Adoption -- is a small, rural foster home based rescue that cares for and places kittens, cats, puppies, and dogs into new homes -- usually, in the Tucson and Phoenix areas. Most of our adoptable animals have been relinquished by previous owners who could not care for them due to unforeseen circumstances or life changes. The adoptable animals may be visited by appointment or be seen in Tucson area. for weekend adoption events.
A.R.T.A. adopts mostly to homes in Tucson and Phoenix areas. Other locations may be considered.

Please, email about your ideal cat or dog you'd like to adopt and a little about home you are offering. Adoption fee is usually just the cost that vet charges for spay, neuter, and shots.
