| About Our
Rescue Group...
|
Our mission is to support and enhance the services provided by the Georgetown Animal Shelter and other local organizations dedicated to the welfare of animals.
We will: Raise awareness of the shelter through public education. Increase volunteer participation and fund raising activities.
Be advocates of animal welfare in the community.
Participate in shelter activities that result in the placement of companion animals in loving, responsible homes.
Campaign for free/low cost spay/neuter clinics. Work toward the day when no healthy animal is killed.
We are an organization of volunteers from all walks of life, united by one common goal… the welfare of animals. While the name implies a Georgetown service organization, GAO’s work and involvement extends into the general Williamson County community. |

| Our Adoption Process... |
| Our adoption process includes filling out an application, allowing a home visit, and paying an adoption fee of $95. All cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and well socialized. You can find our adoption application on our website: www.georgetowndogrescue.com |
