| Moon Unit is a gorgeous 1 1/2 year old rescue who loves to purr very loudly. She rolls around beside you to be petted, and when you pick her up to pet her she purrs and purrs. With love and affection, she will grow up to be a very beautiful, outgoing cat. She was found with her sibling kittens and extended cat family in an alley behind a police station in Washington, DC. So even though she loves to be petted, she is still learning about being held and carried round. She just loves other kittens and young cats, and copies the friendly behavior of the cats in her foster home. She would be an excellent companion kitty for your male kitten, or one of her siblings also available through 4Paws. She’s been in a loving home since she was about 8 weeks of age, and will need a little time to adjust to new people and new surroundings -- but she will blossom with loving attention into a wonderful, outgoing and sweet cat. She must be adopted into a home with another cat, although not necessarily her brother. Moon Unit and her brother Frankie Z were rescued behind the Park Road police station off Georgia Avenue, where a 4Paws volunteer found many little kittens and cats. They have socialized to people very well, and love to spend the day with their human family. They like to copy the friendly behavior of other young cats and kittens, and will do anything for a treat of Fancy Feast! However, they would probably be startled by the sounds and movements of small children. Play with them, pet them, and hold them, give them yummy chicken or fish, and they will love you and be very loyal companions. Moon Unit is spayed and fully vaccinated. She tests negative for FIV/FeLV. Now she just needs a loving home. |
