Talk about 'Sticky' situations! I am only about 5 years old, but let me tell you, the last year or so has been pretty awful. I had been abandoned at an apartment complex, left just to fend for myself. And so for over a year I went from apartment to apartment begging for enough food to sustain me. Through both stifling heat and bitter cold, through both drought and freezing rain I struggled to survive. Many times I came close to giving up, but something inside just would not let me do that. I prayed for some kindly soul to step in and save me and finally that happened and I came to live with CARE foster mom Lexi. I was taken to a vet and checked out from stem to stern and I had the spay operation that I should have had many years earlier and that would have spared me from having so many litters of kittens. Now that I am getting to know my foster mom I share a lot of affection with her. Soft caresses of my head and snuggling with Lexi are just plain wonderful after so much time spent alone and unwanted. Well, I am wanted now and I even rolled over for Lexi to show her my belly and to demonstrate the trust that I have that she will take care of me until I find my forever home.
