Description

A Leg Up Rescue mainly cares for small dogs, under 10 lb. These dogs could be completely normal behaviorally, but their time at the shelter has run out, or they could be shy and fearful and simply do not show well at a shelter. Most dogs require lessons in housetraining and some basic obedience. Some dogs take several weeks to find a new home, others can take several months. If you have room in your home for a small dog, ALUR can use your help. ALUR has foster parents from as far north as Santa Rosa down to Redwood City, and several volunteers are also located on the East bay.
