All adoption contracts must be reviewed by the staff of Lusco Farms Rescue prior to any adoption taking place. A Vet and farrier reference is required. Picturers of the property must accompany the adoption form. Animals must reside at the adopters property.
All adoptions require a $250.00 donation for the first animal and $125 for each additional. All equines must have another equine on the property for companionship or the adopter must adopt at least two equines.

About Lusco Farms Rescue

The mission of Lusco Farms Rescue is to provide immediate shelter, veterinarian care and nutrition for all equines. A special emphasis will be placed on the well being of miniature ponies, mules and donkeys. Volunteers at Lusco Farm Rescue will provide care without passing judgment on those involved in the situation. Our main purpose is to rehabilitate and find safe and caring homes for the equines that have come into our care.

Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
