2.

Submit Application

An online application can be submitted for pre-approval. Tell us the pets name or, if undecided, whether you are interested in a dog or cat.

3.

Interview

We'd like to get to know you and your family so that we can better match you with a new family member.

4.

Approve Application

Some of our rescues may have specific requirements that need to be met, which will be taken into consideration before approval is given.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

All adoptions require a signed contract which lists what is expected of you and what is required should you not be able to keep your pet.

6.

Pay Fee

All adoptions require a fee. We do give a reduction in fees if you adopt 2 pets at the same time.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fees vary, but usually, our cats/kittens can be adopted for $50 or 2 for $80. A deposit may be required for any animal that is not spayed/neutered Our dogs also vary, depending on age & breed. Adoption fees for dogs are usually between $150-$450. We test our rescue cats for FIV/FeLV. Our dogs are tested for heartworm, lymes, ehrlichia, anaplasma (Canine 4 Dx).
All those desiring to adopt a dog are required to submit an application for approval. We do our best to match our rescues up with the families that we feel will provide them with the best home & living environment. All animals, like people, have different needs & personalities. We want to make sure that both the adopter and the pet are a good 'fit'.

About You Too Animal Rescue

You Too Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to reducing the suffering of cats and dogs that are abandoned, abused, neglected, sick or unwanted by promoting spaying & neutering and assisting others in providing these animals with a permanent home in a safe and nurturing environment. We are a small rescue manned by a handful of dedicated volunteers & we foster our rescued animals in our homes.rs. We have taken on the challenge of trapping and rehoming colonies of feral cats that were reproducing and becoming very problematic for some local residents. Most of our rescues have been cats, but we are getting more and more calls from people who have found stray dogs or are in a desperate situation and need to surrender theirs.
We are always in need of funds to pay for the vet bills incurred by our many rescues. Any donations of food (both canned and dry), litter, toys, bedding, high sided litter boxes, bleach, paper towels, cotton towels & small baby blankets would be gratefully appreciated.

Support adoption and rescue. Why go to a dog breeder, cat breeder or pet store to buy a dog or buy a cat when you can adopt?

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
