About Chasing Colt Animal Rescue
We are a 501c3 organization in Catharpin, VA. We were inspired by Colt, our initial rescue from a kill shelter in rural VA after he was left to the elements by his previous owner. With a leg injury that was never taken care of, we knew he would not be easily adopted. Watching his spirit grow, and knowing that the homeless population is so great, we are making it our mission to save as many as we can...one life at a time.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
