They call to meet the catt and we get the car from the foster

Interview
While they are busting with the kitty,we do an interview to determine if they are a good let parent

They then submit an application

If everything checks out, references and then in general, we approve the application. The best step is a home check. If that goes well we then have them sign paperwork, collect their fee and they take the baby home!

About Western Ferals of Onslow Private Cat Rescue
Their is a very large population in our county of Feral cats. So our group started out feeding different areas and then started a TNR project. Well in doing this we come across abandoned kittens by their Mom's, cats and kittens that are dumped by their owners and we rescue them. We immediately vet them to have them checked. All our money is donated and used for feeding, TNR 's and vetting. We have TNR'd approximately 200 cat's and kittens. We sometimes get a phone call for an emergency rescue, for example on May 6th of this year we rescued 3 babies from a garbage can set out for pick up. Fortunately we were able to trap the mom also. Mom was vetted after nursing and returned to one of our colonies and all 3 babies have been adopted.
When people ask why we do this...We ask them...why not! They need us , we can't save them all but we can certainly try!

Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
