Once approved, pet can go home same day - must pay fee at time of adoption (no payment plans).

About Anderson Animal Shelter - Pet Supplies Plus

Anderson Animal Shelter has been saving lives and serving the Fox Valley region for more than 50 years. We are a high volume humane society that rescues and rehomes over 4,000 dogs and cats (and occasional other small mammals) each year. We also offer a variety of outreach programs, special events throughout the year, and humane education. We receive no federal or state funding, so rely solely upon donations, grants and volunteers to run our organization.

Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
