Submit Application

You can find our application on our website or send us an email for a copy.

Meet the Pet

We do a home check at the same time as the meet&greet. If things go well they can stay that day for an adoption or trial adoption.

3.

Pay Fee

The adoption fee is paid at the time of a successful meet&greet.

Additional adoption info

All vetting for your current dogs in the home must be UTD, be spayed or neutered, and have proof of consistent HW prevention.

We are small but we are mighty.

WWDR is a 501(c)3 dog rescue dedicated to saving abused and neglected dogs from high-kill shelters and local dogs in need throughout Georgia. We make a difference daily showing dogs what it means to be loved and part of a foster and forever family.
Wags and Wiggles Dog Rescue is run by three dedicated women from different walks of life and generations to fill a need in GA. We have 20 years of experience doing what we do best; saving lives with compassion, empathy, and respect for each dog as an individual. We give them their dignity back!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
