South Houston Animal Shelter's Adoption Process

1. Submit Application

all applications will be reviewed by adoption Panel,all references will be contacted and check with Landlords if necessary.

2. Approve Application

if your application is approved, you will be notified of the next step

3. Meet the Pet

come to the shelter, meet the Furbaby. If you have a Furbaby already. Bring your Furbaby with for a Meet and Greet.

4. Pay Fee

Pay the Adoption fee and then you will take your baby home.

We are a Small City Run Shelter. Striving for Excellence. We are not like most Shelters, we believe that all Dogs and Cats have the potential to be Adoptable. We make sure that all Furbabies are well cared for, cleaned up and healthy for Adoption. we do not give up on our Furbabies, Skinny, skin conditions, heart worm prevention are all done by the Loving Staff. our staff love every Furbby at the Shelter as if they were Their own Pets.
We do not give our Babys numbers. Every Baby has a Name.
