Adopt

Cozy Alternative To Streetlife

We are two soft hearted women with many caring foster moms that make this a very successful rescue. We spend all our waking time rescuing these sweet babies. If we aren't driving around picking up kittens then we are either buying meds and food or adopting them at Petco. It's a full time job even though we already have a full time job. There is only one reason we do this and it's to find loving safe homes for the helpless felines. It's amazing to see them grow from being scared living in a field, alley or bush to purring in the new adopters arms. We take a photo after each adoption and cherish it forever. We don't have much money but what we get from the adoption fee goes towards food, the vet for spay/neuter, medicines to keep them healthy, Stronghold to keep the fleas off, microchips in case they get lost and FIV/Felv tests to make sure they are negative for those deadly diseases.

Additional adoption info

INTERVIEW:
An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time.

APPROVAL:
If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files.

TIME FRAME:
Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary.

WHY:
Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you!
