Being a NC rescue means that we are working with shelters and homeless pets in the #3 highest rated kill state in the US. This means it is a never ending flow of animals that need rescuing in our state. Some of these animals are wounded, broken, scared and "tough cases". That is where we come in to help save those tough cases, together. But, we couldn't do any of it without our community of adopters, fosters, volunteers, veterinarians, adoption event locations and those who donate to our rescue. So it takes a village, and though we are a small part of that village we are mighty. We are STFFAR.
