Critter Shack Rescue

Critter Shack, Inc., was founded in 2002 by several citizens who were interested in finding solutions for the large number of abandoned, adoptable animals in the area. The rescue is an all-volunteer organization and has no paid staff.

Funded by donations, fund-raisers, adoptions, and grants, the organization has been successful in rescuing thousands of adoptable animals.

Critter Shack volunteers recognize education and free or low cost spay/neuter, along with a robust adoption program are the solutions to pet overpopulation and abandonment.
