About Clermont Animal CARE Humane Society

Clermont Animal CARE Humane Society aims to end the abuse, neglect, suffering, abandonment and the killing of healthy, treatable animals in our community. We were formed with the vision of transforming our county animal shelter to an open access, no-kill municipal shelter.

We believe in the vision of a humane, no-kill community and high-quality, compassionate animal sheltering. We reduce animal suffering by enforcing laws around their humane treatment through employing a progressive lifesaving community-focused model, to support our residents and ensure the provision of adequate food, shelter, care and companionship for animals in our community.

By providing animal sheltering for at-risk animals, animal protection services for the county, and spay/neuter and other owner-support programs for our community, we work to improve the lives of animals and the people who care for and about them.
