An application, references and a home check are required. An adoption fee is also required This includes all shots, bordatella, rabies, deworming, microchip and spay/neuter as well as any other medical attention requred to deem the animal healthy.

About Animal Action Rescue

The Objective of Animal Action Rescue shall be to provide charitable and educational services in the form of:

• Quality shelter and care of unwanted, neglected and/or abused animals until proper, permanent homes can be found and

• Advice to adopters about breed characteristics, proper care, health issues, and training and behavior.

Animal Action Rescue shall not be operated for profit and no part of any profits or remainder or residue from dues or donations to the corporation shall inure to the benefit of any Director or member or individual. All donations go to feeding, sheltering, and providing quality medical care for the animals.

The purpose of Animal Action Rescue is to rescue as many unwanted animals as we possibly can, assess their placeability and to place them into good permanent homes making the best possible match; to provide care and training information for each animal we place. It is our policy that animals will not be euthanized due to lack of homes. Instead, we will keep the animal in our program as long as we deem necessary to find a suitable home.

Animal Action Rescue is a non breed specific rescue group.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
