We will require that you fill out an adoption applications & list references. An adopton contract will also be required at the time a match is made.
Adoption fees to vary slightly, but will be around $200.00 as this is usually the minimum that we have had to invest in each dog to ensure his/her health & to spay, neuter, and vaccinate.
emailing us is the fastest way to get a response. If you are serious about adopting a particular dog, tell us something about yourself in your first email, it will greatly speed up the process!

The Short N Sweet Ranch, altho primarily a horse ranch, has opened its acres to homeless dogs that are looking for that perfect forever home.
We are a member of the Rescue Alliance of Hairless & Other Breeds Which is a group of dedicated rescuers that foster animals from shelters and occasionally for people who need to place their animal into rescue.
Our potential homes are screened & you must be willing to answer questions about your home & life so we can make a perfect match.
All homes must be willing to come out to meet their new dog...I won't ship & hope it works out.
I also require that all adopters have spayed or neutered ALL their current dogs and cats.
