Areas United Humanitarians / Jr Humane Society Serves

We don't have a shelter. Our dogs are fostered by volunteers in the Pensacola area. Our cats and kittens can be viewed and adopted from Petsmart on Davis Hwy in Pensacola.

United Humanitarians / Jr Humane Society's Adoption Process

Our adoption fee is normally $75 for a dog; $65 for a cat. This pays for the spay/neuter.

About United Humanitarians / Jr Humane Society

The Junior Humane Society is a non-profit, all volunteer, animal rescue group. For the past 18 years, we have taken in owner released pets so they won't be taken to the pound/animal shelter. All animals waiting for adoption are placed in foster homes. Before placing the animal in a permanent home we provide all necessary vet care, including but not limited to shots, spaying and neutering. We also offer a low cost Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) to local rescue groups and people who have multiple animals, or need financial assistance. You can spay/neuter you pet for a fee as low as $35. For more information about SNAP, please call 968-3636
