Following is a brief introduction to our process for adopting a Doberman.
Step 1: Fill out an application and answer any residual questions from our Application Coordinator
Step 2: Telephone screenings with a DRG volunteer
Step 3: Schedule a home visit
Step 4: Selection/matching process
Step 5: Finalize the adoption and welcome your new family member home!
We take this very process very seriously. When you adopt a Doberman from Doberman Rescue Group, you join our growing family and we will be there with you for the good times and bad. If you have any questions never hesitate to pick up the phone and call.
We request an adoption fee of $325.00 adults 400.00 puppies.

All adopters will be screened, home checks performed and we do follow the dogs for the life of the dog.
All dogs are spayed or neutered and health checked. They will have been tested for heartworms and have received all appropriate innoculations.
Our dogs are in foster home situations. They will be crate trained and started on house training.

Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
