F.E.R.A.L.

FERAL specializes in the rescue and rehabilitation of wild, homeless and abandoned felines. In general, we do not accept house pets but have made rare exceptions in cases where pets have been in extreme danger.

We concentrate on public education and awareness of the importance of spaying and neutering pets as well as feral cat spay/neuter and release to combat pet overpopulation.

Additional adoption info

Please stop by the adoption center in PetsMart at Valley View Mall and fill out our front and back application located in the adoption center. Leave your completed application in the adoption cart in front of the center.

Applications are picked up once a day and you should hear from a shelter representative within 24 hours about the status of your application. We require a vet reference and landlord approval (if applicable) to complete application process. Adoptions are conducted by appointment. Do not come to pick up the cat until you have spoken to an adoption counselor. PetsMart employees do not have the authority to conduct adoptions of our felines.

Regretfully, volunteers are not able to be present at the store at all times. They are there in the mornings and evenings cleaning the cages and most weekends, but you may also call our phone number to set up a time to meet a volunteer to handle a cat/kitten.

The adoption fee is $50.00 per cat or kitten. You can also email or call for more information.
