Las Vegas Bulldog Rescue's adoption process

Additional adoption info

We strictly follow BCARN rules and procedures. Adoption applications are checked and verified. Extensive home check s are done to insure our Bullies are going to a safe place. Adoptees must have knowledge of our Bulldog breed and know all health issues concerning the breed. Bullies are accessed and placed in homes that are acceptable to the pets temperament...ie...energetic bullies are usually placed in homes as the only pet so that the new owners can have the time to continue with training. Many dogs are required to go thru a pet traning program once they are adopted out.
Fees: Our feed vary from dog to dog. We ask for a donation fee that is set for each individual dog. For example is a dog has had extensive medical treatment, we may ask for $300-$400. A pet who is ill and may require treatment for the rest of its life....we will not ask for donation. An older dog....we may not ask for donation. A young dog with no medical problems, we may ask for a bit more. All depends on the dog and its issues.

About Las Vegas Bulldog Rescue

WE are a Bulldog Rescue. We take in abandoned, sick, owner surrendered and stray bullies and rehabilitate them for new homes. We care for our ill bullies and provide veterianrian care, medications and surgeries as needed. All bullies are spay and nutured before being placed. Bullies with emotinal, psychological and behavioral problams are accessed and are provided with special training before being placed. We have some forster homes that provide this special help, they are our angels. Now that our Bully breed has become on the top 10 most popular dogs, we are seeing more and more of our bullies ending up in shelters. Many backyard breededs who do not know that they are doing....Breeding all for GREED without a thought of breeding for health. It is very sad. We need all the help we can get. Some bullies have come in so sick that sometimes nothing can be done to save its life. IGNORANT and HEARTLESS people in this world.

Support adoption and rescue. Why go to a dog breeder, cat breeder or pet store to buy a dog or buy a cat when you can adopt?

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
