Areas Southern Oregon Humane Society Serves

We travel all over southern Oregon and northern California to rescue animals who are ready to be euthanized.

Southern Oregon Humane Society's Adoption Process

Adoptions include spay or neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea and tick preventative, 24PetWatch Microchip, 30 days free Shelter Care Pet Insurance, worming, one free health check with a local veterinarian, new parent guide and a goodie bag filled with coupons and pet care products.

About Southern Oregon Humane Society

The Southern Oregon Humane Society is a private, not-for-profit organization that cares for and adopts more than 900 dogs and cats each year.

The cost of caring for each pet averages $15 per day.

Time limits are not placed on the lives of pets at the Southern Oregon Humane Society. Animals are never euthanized to make room for more.
These life-saving services are only possible because of contributions from the local community. The Southern Oregon Humane Society does not receive funds from any other animal care organization, tax dollars, or the Humane Society of the United States.

The Southern Oregon Humane Society is committed to educating the community about responsible pet care and the humane treatment of all beings. Some of the educational curriculum includes HELP (for at-risk middle school youth), the Pet Care Club (for 5th grade students), and Pets 'n' Pals Day Camp (for youth ages 5 to 10 years).
