Potomac Valley Pekingese Club - Virginia Beach

We are all volunteers who love Pekingese. Our dogs are all fostered in homes, given any vet care they need. We want to make sure any Peke we place goes to a home that fits both the dog and the family. We also are there to help answer questions about Pekingese, their care, their health issues.

Rescue FAQs

We rescue Pekingese in Maryland and Virginia and adopt to those areas. We also adopt to some areas of North Caroline.

Additional adoption info

We require an application to be submitted, vet check and home checks are required. We do not adopt to first time adopters and prefer those with Pekingese or small dog experience. Normally, we do not adopt to people with children under 8 in the home, but exceptions are made if the child is good with dogs. Our adoption fees range from $200 to $350, depending on age and health of the Pekingese.
