German Shepherd Dog
A 2070 Griffin Road, Ft Lauderdale, FL 33312 shelter helping to find loving homes for dogs, cats, rabbits, small animals.
1 - 20 of 112 Adoptable Pets at This Shelter
Adopters come from all over South Florida (and beyond) to adopt. Stop by! You may just fall in love.
You can view the pet and review its information online, but you must visit the facility in order to begin the adoption process.
You will have a brief interview with a staff member to see if the animal fits your family and lifestyle.
If the animal seems like a fit, you and your family get to meet him/her! A meet-and-greet can also be arranged to introduce furry family.
If the pet is spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccines, he/she can go home right away. If not, you will pick him/her up the next day.
The Humane Society of Broward County is a private, non-profit organization that was founded in 1944. We are an open admission shelter that accepts all owned animals. We find homes for thousands of animals each year.
Our shelter has more than 500 volunteers that help in all areas. We also have an extensive Education Department that visits schools on a regular basis to teach respect and kindness to all animals.
In addition to spaying and neutering all the pets that are adopted, we also offer low-cost spay/neuter services for pets belonging to residents in our community and feral cats. To get your pet sterilized contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Other programs and services the shelter offers include:
low cost dog obedience classes; free behavioral counseling; pet loss and grieving sessions; animal assisted therapy, foster care; microchip and vaccination clinics; owner's request for pet euthanasia and cremation; pet boutique and community events.
