Canine Soulmates Rescue's adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Please fill out Adoption application on our website:
Caninesoulmates.org
This will be under the Forms tab
we will notify you if receive

2.

Approve Application

The next Step is a Vet Check, if you have one

3.

Home Check

We check the fence, make sure everyone wants a dog, and make sure your new family member will be part of the family.

4.

Take the Pet Home

We also want to make sure your new family member is a good fit. We have a 1 week trial period for our adult dogs.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

After the Trial Period if all is well, we finalize the adoption
and transfer the microchip registration to the new owner.!

About Canine Soulmates Rescue

Canine Soulmates
This is a small group of dedicated individuals who want to get as many adoptable dogs as we can out of the local shelters. Community education is a goal of ours as all adopters need to have all pets up to date on vaccines and heart worm Preventative.

Adoption fees are 300.00. This fee covers medical care of the dog before adoption. This includes Spay/neuter, vaccines, worming, microchip and registration.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
