All Breed Rescue and Adoption (Illinois)'s Adoption Process

Our adoptions start with an application and approval process. If approved you may take your pet home with you the same day. Donations range from 75 dollars to around 200 but never more than 350.00 for any pet, regardless of how much medical attention goes into a pet. You must be 21 adopt from us.

We prefer a fenced in yard but it's not required. All people in the household must be present for adoption and we request that you at least spend 45 minutes with the pet of your choice.

EVERY adoption includes spay or neuter. Check around; not everyone includes the price of surgery, even if it's required. Our donation for dogs also includes: first shots, heartworm test if over 6 months, and rabies shot (at time of surgery if too young). We treat for fleas and parasites, however, we recommend a fecal. Most are also microchipped. Cats come with surgery cost included, first shots, FIV test, and nail trim. We do NOT allow our cats to be declawed!

About All Breed Rescue and Adoption (Illinois)

We are a foster style rescue. Our pets live with us, so we know more about them than the average shelter. We have a variety of homes that include other dogs, cats, kids, etc.

We have been in existence since 2008 and have saved more than 300 dogs and cats in 2009!

Spaying and neutering is the absolute best way to curb pet overpopulation. We believe in low cost spay and neuter and can provide info to low cost surgeries.

We also believe pet nutrition and vaccine awareness can keep your best friend healthy for life. Our fosters are fed high quality food and many enjoy the benefits of a partially raw food diet. Our foster cats have access to a cat drinking fountain and are on a grain free diet. We encourage people to explore the nutritional value of pet food and make the best decision for their pets.
