We have any potential adopter fill out an adoption application with two personal references and a vet reference. These are followed up on and if all is satisfactory we schedule a home visit to ensure it is a safe and appropriate enviroment. Also, at this time, two copies of the actual adoption contract stating our requirements of adoption is filled out and the adoption fee is paid.

We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit small dog adoption agency located in central Florida that is dedicated to saving the lives of small breeds and mixes and believe that these animals are precious and deserve a new start in life. Public donations are needed and graciously accepted to help pay for the costs of rescueing and vetting these unwanted, abandoned, and neglected dogs. We also are always in need of foster homes in the central Florida area.

Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
