Areas Sanctuary Animal Rescue Serves

Sanctuary Animal Rescue is dedicated to creating the perfect match between owner and pet. We mainly serve the Alabaster, Helena, Calera, Pelham areas, but not limited to other Alabama cities/counties. We have available dogs, both small and large, puppies, cats and kittens.

Sanctuary Animal Rescue's Adoption Process

The adoption fees are $50 for cats and kittens, between $75-125 for dogs and puppies. If a puppy or kitten is too young to be spayed or neutered, you must pay an additional $50 spay/neuter fee that will be paid to the vet when the procedure is done.

If you are interested in adoption you must start by completing a Questionnaire posted on our website at www.sanctuaryanimalrescue.com, or at Petsmart in Alabaster on Saturdays from 11 to 3:30. A vet reference will be needed, and a home visit may be required. You must be at least 18 years of age. We reserve the right to deny adoption to anyone who is not able to demonstrate to our satisfaction their committment and ability to care for the pet for the duration of its natural life.

About Sanctuary Animal Rescue

MISSION STATEMENT:

"The righteous man cares for the life of his animal" Proverbs 12:10.

We aim to help control the overpopulation of cats and dogs and to decrease the number of unwanted animals in central Alabama. In essence we are finding caring homes for loving animals who need them.
Our pets live in foster homes as members of a household / family until they are adopted. This gives the pet the opportunity to live in a "home" environmnent and allows us to get to know each pet's temperment, energy level, and needs so that it can be matched with the best permanent home.

If you are looking for a specific pet, we keep a current wish list, so let us help you find your dream pet!!!

Come Meet Sanctuary Animal Rescue's Pets

Our weekly adoption event is on Saturdays at Petsmart in Alabaster. Come by and see us and find us on Facebook under Sanctuary Animal Rescue for day to day updates and communications.
